JP5 CONCEPT

JP5 concept is a project that reinterprets nautical sailcloth from a contemporary and sustainable perspective.

ARTKA has developed the art direction and design of the project, defining a clear and coherent visual identity aligned with the core values of JP5 concept: innovation, functionality, and eco-luxury.

The main focus of the collections is reclaimed nautical sailcloth, combined with carefully selected sustainable materials such as bamboo and components derived from marine algae. These material choices are driven not only by aesthetic considerations, but also by a responsible approach to design and production.

We rescue broken or unused sails and give them a new life as sneakers, interior design pieces or artistic objects. Each sail is handled individually and dyed using water-based, REACH-certified dyes, creating a unique and consistent color palette.
The result: a strong, durable material; full of character and with a story to tell.
